Question:  Why did Option Central choose PayPal for its membership system?

Answer:  The membership management system (Sentry) that was chosen by Option Central many years ago works directly with PayPal to provide a completely automated system for managing memberships. The system is highly secure, user-friendly and completely automated.

Question:  Can I join Option Central if I don't currently have a PayPal Account?

Answer:  Yes, this can be done a couple of ways:

1. Use PayPal as a payment processor only.   Opening a PayPal account is quick and easy. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and does not require that a balance is kept in the account. When acting in this way, PayPal acts as a payment processor that also helps you keep your membership active by reminding you when your membership renewal is due.

2. Use a credit card to purchase and renew memberships directly with us.  This requires that you Contact Us, so that we can process your membership and renewal payments.

Question:  I have an old account, why can't I log in ?

Answer:  In April 2009, Option Central was transferred from its founder to the CompuSports Network of web sites.  A change in the membership system necessitated setting up new accounts for existing members, and we did that for all active members as of that date.  In some instances, Guest Writer accounts were overlooked and we subsequently have corrected that on a case by case basis.
