Becoming a Guest Writer on Option Central
Here's the basic guidelines:
- Anything concerning Option Football - plays, drills,
off-season - whatever...
- Any level - Pee-Wee to College. The reader base runs this
spectrum...
- Keep it around 2 pages or so of material - we're
looking for more of an article kind of format.
- You can U.S.
mail, e-mail OR (Recommended)
use the File Upload Page to submit
material to us directly - we'll deal with it. Please send us an email
though to make sure we know that you uploaded something to us!
- If you want to email or
upload it, please do
it as a Word document or some other WINDOWS readable format. We can't
open or read Mac formatted material.
- For plays, try to be complete in terms of assignments,
basic adjustments, personnel, terminology, etc... remember that people are reading your
stuff with the intention of possibly using it. Your insights into why it's good and what
to expect out of it are golden to someone who's new to what you're introducing.
- Provide some information on YOU! Definitely things
like where you coach, how long you've been coaching, your title, record, etc... The
material is the point around here, but we want our Guest Writers to get at least a little
exposure for the effort.
- All Guest Authors receive a free membership
for one year to the site.
